Evaluation
I did not enjoy this shoot a lot, as I feel that whenever I have photographed multiple imagery in the past also I do not achieve highly technical pieces. I didn't have many ideas at the start of this shoot, and even after researching for my image bank I was left with little inspiration which I feel is reflected in my final piece. I think that multiple imagery would work best in the studio compared with location shoot as you can plan the background of your pictures better, and by positioning the camera on a tripod for example will give a better finish to the photo. I also did not find this shoot very interesting, as this technique can be tedious to edit with in Photoshop.
This is my most successful piece from the shoot, although I am still not very pleased with it. I was aiming to create more of a pattern with the flowers therefore I don't think this is entirely effective although it still technically represents multiple imagery. I like the green tones in this photo, as there is a darker colour on the leaves in the background and those in the foreground have a light green colour on them. I think this photo works well with 9 images together, and the separation between them creates a distinction that it is more than one image otherwise it may be confusing to the eye.
How I can use this technique in my work
I could use this technique in my personal project along the topic of the environment as there could be many opportunities to use photo joiner when exploring the nature within the environment. I think that using different types of flowers for example and placing them together on the same image and using different editing across the shots would add an interesting dimension to a photo. Although I have not been entirely successful in this shoot, I think that shooting in the studio in my personal project may allow me to get pictures that I am happy with.
