This image bank shows pictures of sequencing, and the movement that is captured within the photos. I think that this is a clever technique and requires skill and patience in order to capture. I also think this technique can be difficult to achieve, depending on the subject of the photo and your ability to capture what is happening within the frame.
My favourite photo out of these sequencing photos is the top
left. This is because it captures the true movement within the photo, and
although it is simple it is very effective. I also like that the images are
almost joined together as the whole picture just flows as one rather than being
disjointed. I also like the colours in this picture, as the reflection from the
sky creates a calm mood on what would ordinarily be an action packed picture
full of life.
I also like the photo of the bike crossing the river, as the colour contrasts
between the rider and the sky are noticeable which makes the bike stand out
which is what is striking about this photo. I also think that it is a
successful sequencing photo as it shows the different stages of movement, and
the different shapes that are creates as a result. I think that to make this
photo even more successful, having a clear sky (without the clouds) would have
made this better.
