Image Bank- Multiple Flash

This image bank is for multiple flash, by looking at these pictures it is clear that movement is an important factor in making a successful photo for multiple flash. Also most of these pictures are of darker backgrounds so that the subject colours stand out against the background as they are usually brighter colours which creates a focal point within a photo. I do like this technique, as I feel that you can manipulate photos to create something that looks unrealistic as there are multiple images within the photo.

My favourite photo is the top, which is the pack of cards. This is because although it is simplistic I feel that the white playing cards contrast with the dark black background and the multiple flash creates an effective twist on what would originally be a plain photo. I also think the composition of this photo is quite clever, as the hand is coming from the right hand side, and although the hand only makes simple movements to create this effect it is something I may consider doing in my personal project.

I also like the photo of the rowers, this is for a number of reasons. Though I think that if the rowers had filled the length of the frame it would be more successful as it does not quite reach the width of the photo. Despite this, I like the bright colours in this photo as I think the reds and purples complement each other and contrast well with the pale colour in the water. I also like this photo as the multiple flash element in the photo is complex as the photographer has used a number of different flashes in order to achieve the photo yet this would be difficult to re create something similar in my work which is why I like this photo as it is unique.
