Different Shot Types

I initially found this difficult as I do not have much experience with creating videos, and taking into account different shot types was also another element that I had to incorporate. I am overall happy with the result from this lesson as I feel that this has helped me improve a range of skills and techniques that I learnt in the first year of my photography course. I knew that composition was just as important in film as in photography, therefore I felt that I had to consider this when shooting otherwise I would have difficulties when I came to edit. I had never used IMovie before, so I also found this tricky when trying to cut clips down and create transitions between clips. Although I found this helpful, I feel that I did not plan as well as I should have and my final result is not as creative as I would have liked. If i was to do this again, I would plan the shots better and make sure that I know what I am doing and what I want to achieve. Video could be useful for my personal project as it allows me to experiment with sequence type shots within my videos, and it has given me inspiration to create stories and action shots within my photography like what you would see in a video
